Straight answers.
We publish three tiers — 1, 2 and 5 years — and the number is the realistic life under Cypriot conditions (UV, salt air, dust). The 5-year tier uses a professional-grade coating with thicker layers and includes annual maintenance to keep the warranty intact.
Coating itself does not remove scratches — paint correction does. Every tier above 1-year includes correction before the coat goes on (single-stage on 1-year, multi-step on 2 and 5-year). Deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat need repair before correction.
Two-bucket method, pH-neutral shampoo, dry with a clean microfibre. Avoid automated brush washes — they create swirl marks even on coated cars. We can recommend a maintenance routine and supply the right shampoo on request.
The difference is in the prep work, the coating product itself, and the maintenance included. 1-year is a single-stage polish plus one layer of consumer-grade coating. 5-year is a three-step correction, professional-grade coating with multiple layers, and yearly maintenance built into the price.
